Low-land Greenhouse in Malaysia
For most farmers in tropical area, like Malaysia, high land is always a first-choice location to build the greenhouse because of better climate. However, there are also some problems facing by the local farmers because of steep landform, poor transportation infrastructure, and limited land.
Because of these reasons, more and more farms consider to shit to invest the greenhouse in low land. Since then, how to overcome the challenge brought by the low-land climate becomes a very popular topic.
Together with our local partner, Sangreen has already built a few projects In Malaysia, including a pilot project in low land. This particular project focuses on growing leafy vegetables using nutrient solutions, and also melons with poly grow bag.
Considering the harsh climate, such as high temperature, frequent rainstorm and high humidity, this greenhouse has been designed with strong structure, special plastic film, natural ventilation, shading curtain and cooling pad & fan systems. Together with the environment-control system, this smart greenhouse makes a perfect environment for the high yield and sustainable production.
