After the intense competition with a few international greenhouse suppliers, it is our honour that KAUST finally choose Sangreen as their partner to carry out this special research greenhouse for their Plant Growth Core Lab.

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a graduate research university devoted to finding solutions for some of the most pressing scientific and technological challenges in the world as well as Saudi Arabia in the areas of food and health, water, energy, environment and the digital domain.

The Plant Growth Core Lab (PGCL) is a research-driven facility operating at the forefront of agricultural innovation, dedicated to plant and agricultural based studies, including transgenic research. Their mission is to support food and water research in KAUST and in the Kingdom.

The greenhouse is covered with 8mm double layer PC sheet, which could have the best heat insulation for the hot climate. To have a better control of the environment, the ventilation system, cooling pad & fan system, outside shade system, inside shade system, blackout system, high pressure fogging system, RO Machine, and control system are equipped. The whole greenhouse is divided into 8 section with independent climate control, so that the user could make different kinds of research inside each sections.

Now, this greenhouse project is still under installation with the cooperation of local  installation team, and our English-spoken supervisor. We are looking forward to the successful completion of the project in the coming month!
